A Virtual Hiring Event will be held May 1st – 31st with Employers From the Employment Expo!
In order to participate in the Virtual Hiring Event, you must create an account on the Connecting Colorado website:
As the U.S. economy struggles to regain its footing, job fairs can be found popping up all over the state. But the Military and Veterans Employment Expo is different.
Government agencies such as the Department of Defense, the Department of Labor, the Colorado Department of Labor & Employment, and the Colorado National Guard and community partners such as Pikes Peak Workforce Center, and the Education and Employment Initiative group are collaborating to organize this important event.
A Key to Your Success
As the late-2011 withdrawal date of U.S. forces from Iraq has passed, more heroically discharged military personnel are requiring workforce-reintegration support. The Military and Veterans Employment Expo will become a key part of many veterans' redevelopment programs.
Thank you for doing this! I was starting to give up. I was offered a position with the National Park Service.
All the classes and labs, mock interviews helped me talk to the employer, write a better resume, gave me more confidence in my skills and abilities to sell myself to prospective employers.
This was an outstanding resource to help fix my resume, help to sell myself and network with potential employers.
Ms. Hance, Thanks again for making the MVEE workshops available as well as the job fair on Friday. I found it to be a great resource and the classes that I did attend were perfect for my needs as I continue my employment search. Thanks again, please let me know if there is anything I can do for you.
Hello Mrs. Hessler, I attended your seminar at MVEE and would like to connect. The info you provided really helped me in my job search. I am taking all I gain at classes and passing on testimony about how vital they have been to my career search and fighting complacency.
